That's my number one use of CV in Reason (if you don't count gate and note CV). The CV outputs don't normally have level pots, but the inputs usually do, so the effect can be full on or subtle. The Pulsar doesn't have this waveform, btw, so I still use the MalstrГ¶m for LFO sometimes. I'd guess half of my song files will have one of those hooked up somewhere, many of them to the pan CV input to the line mixer, moving a pad or wind noise or something organically in the stereo field. The one before that is stepped random, which is great for a S&H type deal, but the smooth random wave glides along in a very organic sort of way. I like the one that looks like a mountain range (number eight if you start counting from the sine), which is a smooth random shape. The MalstrГ¶m LFOs have a ton of waveforms including all the usual suspects (sine, saw, square etc) but also pretty complex ones. Those are the LFO outs, and they can be routed to pretty much any CV input on pretty much any device.

If you flip it, you'll find two outputs called MOD A and MOD B. I use Reason's CV mostly for LFO signals, and up until they came with the Pulsar dual LFO module, I used the MalstrГ¶m for that. I didn't really answer your question, Robojam, so I'll try again.
